OpenHPC 2.4 Released

We are pleased to announce the release of OpenHPC, v2.4.

This is an update release for the OHPC 2.x branch targeting support for RHEL8 variants and OpenSUSE Leap 15. In addition to a number of component version updates, this release updates previous CentOS8-based recipes to leverage Rocky8.

Note that users who previously enabled the OHPC 2.x repository via the ohpc-release package will have access to the updates available in 2.4 and no additional repository enablement should be necessary. Please see the Release Notes ...

OpenHPC 2.3 Released

We are pleased to announce the release of OpenHPC, v2.3.
This is an update release for the OHPC 2.x branch targeting support for RHEL8 variants and OpenSUSE Leap 15. This small update release is intended primarily to enable resource manager support with the newer hwloc included in RHEL 8.4.

This is an update release for the OHPC 2.x branch targeting support for CentOS8 and OpenSUSE Leap 15. This small update release is intended primarily to address a CVE in Slurm.

We are pleased to announce the release of OpenHPC v2.0!
 

This is a significant update that targets support for two new major OS distro versions: CentOS8 and OpenSUSE Leap 15.  As the OpenHPC 2.x series targets major new distro versions, please note that it is not intended to be backwards compatible with the previous OpenHPC 1.3.x series.  Instead, OpenHPC 2.x is intended for fresh installs with the newer distro versions (or containers based on these distro versions).

The OpenHPC Technical Steering Committee is proud to announce the release of version 1.3.5.
